- What kind of photo booth works for a pop-up store or brand event?
- One that leaves the visitor holding a photograph with your brand printed on it. Receipt Camera® prints on thermal paper, so no ink or toner is required. Your logo, message and QR code print above and below the photograph. The visitor takes the photograph away at the moment of capture, and your brand travels with it.
- What does the printed output look like?
- PRO prints on 80 mm receipt paper (rolls 79–80 mm wide). PRO+ prints on 62 mm label-sticker paper. Label stickers are a frequent choice for pop-up stores, because visitors apply them straight to a phone, a diary or a laptop, which makes the print work as event merchandise.
- How many prints does one roll of paper produce?
- Up to 1,000 prints per roll on 80 mm receipt paper (rolls 79–80 mm wide), and about 450 prints per roll on 62 mm label-sticker paper. The exact figure depends on the aspect ratio of the photograph and the height of the branding areas above and below it. Select your configuration in the web demo and the screen calculates the number of prints per roll for that layout.
- What does the unit consume, and where do we buy it?
- Paper only. There is no ink, toner, ribbon or film. The 80 mm receipt paper (rolls 79–80 mm wide) is ordinary thermal receipt stock widely sold by general suppliers, at about $1 a roll for up to 1,000 prints — roughly $0.001 per print. The 62 mm label-sticker paper is about $10 a roll for about 450 prints, roughly $0.02 per print, and it is distributed regionally, so contact us for availability in your territory. Actual paper costs and print yields vary by supplier, roll length and print layout.
- Can we put our own logo and copy on the print?
- Yes. Lay out the logo, text, frame and QR code in the web demo, then generate a setup code and send it to us. Send the code by the day before the unit ships and it leaves configured with that exact layout.
- Can visitors also receive the original photo file?
- Yes. Enable the photo download QR and the print carries a QR code that opens a download page for the original file. The page remains open for 48 hours and permits 10 downloads per file. The device uploads the photograph, so the venue requires an internet connection for this feature.
- What capture modes are available?
- ONE prints a single large frame. MORE joins several shots in sequence. GRID divides the print into as many as nine cells. FRAME composites the photograph inside a border you supply. IMAGE prints prepared artwork without a capture. AI capture applies credit-based filters. EDIT provides a free-placement canvas. PRIZE prints a draw number alongside the photograph, so the print the visitor carries away is also the raffle ticket. Modes can be changed on site to suit the event.
- Do we need a subscription for a brand event?
- Not for your own brand event. The PRO License included with a purchased unit covers using it at your own store, venue or events, including your own pop-up stores, brand activations and promotions. The Extended plan ($99 per month per device) is required if you rent the unit out to others or operate it at events on behalf of clients, for example as an event agency. With an active Extended subscription, these uses need no separate written permission from us. Extended also unlocks the features events rely on: the photo download QR, the boomerang clip, the EDIT canvas, multiple printers at once, settings backup and sharing, and 1,000 AI credits every month. The free trial tier prints a watermark and a promotional QR code on every output. The 3-day Extended trial cannot be used to rent the unit out or to operate it for clients.
- How much does the hardware cost?
- PRO and PRO+ start at $1,599 (list $1,799). MINI starts at $999 (list $1,199). International orders are paid in USD through PayPal on the product pages.
- What does the venue need to provide on site?
- A place to stand the unit, and power. Printers connect over USB, Bluetooth or network, and the app detects them automatically. An internet connection is required only for the download QR and AI features.
- How is the device actually used at brand events?
- Installations at cafés, brand pop-ups, exhibitions, performances, weddings and corporate events are documented in the use-case gallery. Visitors operate the unit themselves and receive the print immediately, so queues stay short, and the print becomes the offline touchpoint that carries your brand out of the room.
