The Receipt Camera® family is a self-service (unmanned) photo booth that produces black-and-white thermal prints that look like till receipts. Every model shares the same instant-print concept, but each is optimised for a different venue type and output style. This guide walks through the whole range so you can land on the right one quickly.
The core split: paper type
Before choosing a form factor, understand the two paper types the lineup uses.
Receipt paper is the same thermal roll you find in any shop till. It feeds continuously and prints a long strip with one photo per pull. Guests tear the print off and carry it away.
Label sticker paper produces a smaller, bounded print with adhesive on the back. The sticker peels off and can be placed on notebooks, phone cases, bags, or anything else. The print process is identical (thermal, no ink), just the paper behaves differently.
The PRO and MINI line: receipt paper, four form factors
Every PRO and MINI model uses receipt paper (79 x 80 mm rolls, up to 800 prints per roll in ONE mode), with a tablet doubling as the camera and interface. The print size is 72 x 72 mm, and with the required 3.5 mm margin on all four sides, the paper comes out to 79 mm wide. The tablet and the frame finishes differ by line. PRO models use an 8-inch tablet (Samsung) and come in four finishes: Walnut, Oak, Maple, and Cherry. MINI uses a 10-inch tablet (TECLAST) and comes in Camel only.
| Model | Form factor | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| PRO | Freestanding tabletop | Cafes, restaurants, pop-up counters |
| PRO BUILT-IN | Recessed into a cut-out partition wall, thin and frame-like | Permanent installs that want a clean, built-in look |
| PRO WALL-MOUNT | Fixed to a wall | Small-footprint waiting areas and corridors |
| MINI | Compact tabletop | Short-term events and tight-counter spaces |
If you want a familiar, low-cost-per-print experience where guests leave with a receipt-style keepsake, any PRO or MINI model works. The form factor then comes down to how much desk space you have and whether the install is temporary or permanent.
The PRO+ line: sticker output and maximum flexibility
PRO+ models use a larger 11-inch tablet and offer sticker-format prints that guests can peel and stick anywhere.
PRO+ uses label sticker paper only (62 mm wide, up to 450 prints per roll). It runs the same Receipt Camera+ app as the PRO models, with the same ONE, MORE, FRAME, and GRID capture modes; what sets PRO+ apart from them is the paper, not the software. This model is the right pick when you want every guest to leave with a sticker they can immediately attach to something.
PRO+ HYBRID is the premium model that lets you swap between two output systems, a receipt printer and a label sticker printer. It is not about choosing between two paper types on the fly; you change the print system itself to match the concept you are running that day. The app and its ONE, MORE, FRAME, and GRID capture modes are the same as on the PRO models; what makes this one a hybrid is that it handles both paper types. It is the advanced pick for a space that wants to run the same RECEIPT CAMERA® with a different concept from one day to the next.
Quick decision guide
Pick the model that matches your main use case:
- You want the longest print and the lowest consumable cost per shot: PRO
- Your counter space is less than 30 cm wide or the install is temporary: MINI
- You want a clean, frame-like look recessed into a cut-out partition wall: PRO BUILT-IN
- You want to mount the Receipt Camera on a wall surface without cutting into the wall: PRO WALL-MOUNT
- Every guest should walk away with a sticker they can place on something right away: PRO+
- You want one product that can run every paper type, both label sticker and receipt: PRO+ HYBRID
What every model shares
Regardless of which model you choose, Receipt Camera® runs on thermal, ink-free printing with no film to replace. Every unit supports custom logo and message images at the top and bottom of each print. Setup is handled through a dedicated photo booth app, and consumables (receipt paper or label sticker rolls) are easy to source and swap without tools.
